The Super Dome Traffic Drum — No Tape gives you the identical body, base, and hardware as the reflective-taped Super Dome line, minus the factory-applied engineering grade, high-intensity, or diamond grade sheeting. It’s built for situations where full MUTCD-spec reflective tape isn’t required, or where your crew needs to apply a specific tape grade, custom decal, or agency-specified sheeting after purchase.

Built to the Same Standard

Dropping the tape doesn’t mean dropping the build quality. This drum keeps every structural feature of the full Super Dome line:

• Ribbed dome top for increased target value and structural strength
• Rounded top design that discourages debris and rocks from collecting on the drum
• Heavy-duty molded tire base that hugs the road surface for stability against wind and passing traffic, while staying easy to reposition
• Enlarged arch carry handle sized for a secure grip even with gloved hands
• Double flag mount holes (one on each side) with pre-molded stops for flagging setups
• Two pre-molded light mounts sized for standard bolt and cup washers, ready for a barricade light
• NCHRP-350 crashworthy certification

Add Your Own Tape or Decals

Because this drum ships without factory sheeting, it’s a practical base for crews that need to apply a specific reflective grade (EG, HI, or DG), custom branding, or agency-required decals themselves — without paying for tape they’d have to strip off and replace anyway.

Where This Drum Fits

This is not a substitute for a fully MUTCD-compliant reflective drum on an active roadway or highway work zone — for that, use one of the Super Dome models with factory-applied EG, HI, or DG tape. The No Tape version is best suited to:

• Indoor or facility use where reflectivity isn’t required
• Low-speed, low-visibility-need applications
• Crews applying their own reflective sheeting to match a specific jurisdiction’s spec
• Storage/training drums where full compliance sheeting isn’t necessary
