Field-Tested, Lightweight Protection

The Ridgeline full-brim hard hat is built to feel far lighter than a traditional hard hat while still delivering full protection. Pyramex field-tested the design on offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, a real-world proving ground for heat, humidity, and rough daily handling.

Full Brim for All-Around Coverage

The full brim shields the face, neck, and shoulders from sun, rain, and falling debris on every side, not just the front — a meaningful advantage over a cap-style hat for outdoor work with heavy sun exposure or overhead hazards.

4-Point Ratchet Suspension, Adjustable While Worn

The ratchet suspension is easy to adjust and lets the wearer fine-tune the fit without taking the hat off, using an easy-to-grasp triangle knob. A soft, replaceable brow pad adds comfort during long shifts, and the suspension can be converted to 6-point with the optional HP6PTSUS strap kit for a more secure fit.

Broad Electrical Protection

The hat meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 and CAN/CSA Z94.1-15, Type I, and carries all three electrical classes — C, E, and G — giving one hat coverage across mixed-voltage environments. It also passes high-temperature (HT) and low-temperature (LT) testing, so performance holds up in extreme climates.
