Dual-Purpose Design
One end of the instrument features a magnetic tip, designed to lift small metallic fragments — like metal shavings or grinding debris — directly off the surface of the eye. The opposite end has a loop, used to gently enclose and lift non-magnetic foreign bodies that a magnet can’t address. Having both functions in one instrument means a single tool covers the two most common categories of eye foreign-body incidents.
